Education Programs

Our center offers 4 education programs run by certified educators passionate about providing the best education for you and your child. Our programs include Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle/ High school, and assistance with special education needs.

Our Preschool is a year round program. Children in Pre-Kindergarten will have a graduation ceremony in June before transitioning to the school-age room during the summer, depending on their age. Homeschool classes run from August 1st until May 31st, Monday through Friday, 9AM to 2PM (child care is offered before and after homeschool classes ). State testing is administered in June and final reports are sent to the school districts by July 1st.

The curriculums are based on the principles of the Reggio Emilia and Project Approach teaching models. Children will be taught through hands on learning and research based on their ability levels. Assessments will be done through observation and projects. State testing will be administered in a relaxed untimed setting. Student's progress will be recorded in a portfolio; quarterly and year end reports will be provided to the school districts. Lessons will be taught through a mix of resources including Khan Academy, Easy Peasy Homeschool, and CK12 Education Programs, along with hands on exploration during field trips and experiments

This program is designed for children ages 3-5, all children must be fully potty-trained. The classroom is staffed by a lead teacher with a BS in early childhood, an assistant who is in the process of obtaining a degree in early childhood and a classroom aid to help provide support to children.

In the classroom children will learn basic skills such as: writing and drawing, letters, colors, shapes, numbers, and following directions. Life and selfcare skills will also be taught.

Our middle school program helps to build study and research skills. This is done while meeting the needs of the core subjects.

This program is a somewhat self passed program. Students are given a lesson plan on Monday with the goals for the week. This plan will also include a list of items and resources needed and options to present what they have learned. The teachers and classroom aid will be there to answer questions and present new topics in a group setting.

The needs and abilities of each child/teen are different, and modifications will be made to support the individual learning styles and interests.

Homeschool Elementary

Designed for children ages 5-11.

Each grade level (K-5) covers the basic subject areas: math, reading, spelling, writing, science, and history. Some levels cover the same topics, but at a more in depth level based on the children's abilities.

Some curriculum topics include: all about me, community, seasons, holidays, human body, plants, animals, space, and weather.

Our special education staff will assist in evaluation of developmental delays, and assist in creating an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and assisting the classroom teachers with modifying lesson plans to meet the IEPs.

Therapies will be provided onsite either in the child's classroom or in the therapy room depending on the needs of the child and therapist.  Classroom staff will attend trainings and observe therapy session to increase their ability to provide these supports in the classroom.
